As homage to the passing of Gerry Conlon in 2014 the Bloody Sunday March Committee will screen Dear Sarah, RTEs 1990 film about the false imprisonment of Guiseppe Conlon and the Guildford 4 and based on letters he wrote to his wife Sarah.

When Giuseppe and his son are fitted up for the IRA bombing in 1976 he diligently writes to his wife Sarah to keep up her spirits as she works tiredly to free her family from prison.

It will be the first event of this year’s film strand.

Tom McGurk, who wrote the screenplay for the film will be present and take part in a Q&A following the screening.
