Shatila refugee camp is a one square kilometre site, just outside Beirut. It is home to an estimated 40,000 refugees driven from their homes in Palestine and Syria by conflict.
Trócaire’s partner Basmeh & Zeitooneh provides much-needed services to its inhabitants. One initiative encouraged women to express themselves through art and this exhibition was the result.
