Roisin O’Hara’s beautiful introduction to this powerful exhibitor Suriyyat (Syrians) which launches this year’s Bloody Sunday March For Justice programme of events.

Shatila refugee camp is a one square kilometre site, just outside Beirut. It is home to an estimated 40,000 refugees driven from their homes in Palestine and Syria by conflict.

Trócaire’s partner Basmeh & Zeitooneh provides much-needed services to its inhabitants. One initiative encouraged women to express themselves through art and this exhibition was the result.
