This will be the Irish Premier of George Amponsah‘s new film exploring the life and death of Mark Duggan a young black man who was shot and killed by armed police in a ‘Hard Stop’ police operation in London, on August 4, 2011.  The film is an intimate portrayal of the impact of the killing on Mark’s friends and family and goes on to explore the Tottenham riots of 2011 that were to follow.  These riots, fuelled by poverty and racial tension, led to violent conflict with police and escalated into riots across London and other major English cities.

We are delighted to be able to announce that the Director George Amponsah and the films two main protagonists Marcus Knox-Hooke and Curtis Henville personal friends of Mark Duggan will be attendance and take part in the post screening discussion.
